Small Ship Travel offers curated small-ship cruises from premium partners like Silversea and Uniworld. The agency faced operational challenges: cruise listings managed through Wized (poor for SEO), manual booking processes, continuous data entry, and slow content updates. PixelMakers solved these across the website and the systems behind it, from the CMS to AI.
Webflow cleanup
Rebuilt cruise listing system inside Webflow CMS. Improved SEO, class structure, and page performance. Integrated Mailchimp and Hotjar. Added new search and landing pages.
First booking engine in Xano
Rolled out a central booking engine using Xano to streamline operations while remaining on Webflow.
Custom CRM and booking engine
Rebuilt on Next.js and Supabase. Custom booking engine enabled self-serve functionality. Internal CRM provided full control over cruise data, customer interactions, and automation.
Automation and data sync
Built scripts to sync data from cruise partners directly into the CMS and the Supabase database. Integrated AI agents to auto-generate cruise descriptions.
Full move to a custom stack
Moved the website to Next.js and Sanity and the back end to Supabase, deployed on Vercel.
