The crisisdesk.ai home page: Welcome to Crisis Desk, your AI solution for crisis communication, with a box to describe a crisis

Rogalski Damaschin is a Romanian PR and strategic communications agency with over 20 years of crisis work. Its clients' worst moments rarely start in office hours: a viral video, a journalist's question, a product on the wrong shelf. Crisis Desk puts the agency's way of handling them in a product anyone on the team can open at any hour.

Describe it in your own words

There are no forms. You write what happened, who is affected and what has been said so far, and Crisis Desk answers like a senior consultant would in the first hour. Every answer follows the same structure: a snapshot with the severity on the agency's five-level scale, from Emerging to Catastrophic, the main risk and the immediate objective; what to do in the next 15 minutes; and what to avoid.

The snapshot and the first 15 minutes. Shown with an invented crisis.

The answer includes the words to use, too: a reply for the journalist and a holding statement for social media, ready to copy. Statements with legal weight are flagged, so the team knows to involve counsel before publishing them.

It asks what it still needs to know

After the first plan, Crisis Desk asks the questions a consultant would, such as whether anyone has been hurt or which batch is affected. Each one comes as a card with one-tap answers, so the team can reply in seconds and get a sharper plan. When a report is needed for the board or the crisis team, it exports the plan as a PDF, a PowerPoint deck, an Excel workbook or a CSV.

The agency's judgment, built in

Crisis Desk isn't a general chatbot with a PR prompt. Every answer is shaped by the agency's principles and draws on its own knowledge base, about 2,500 lines of crisis practice, searched for each question. It remembers the context of a team's earlier conversations, and it is clear about its limits: it is a first-response tool, not a replacement for a consultant.

Alongside the advisor, a free Crisis Readiness Assessment scores how prepared an organization is, across structure and roles, plans, communication and operations, and points to the gaps worth closing first.

Built for confidential conversations

  • Personal data in a conversation, such as names, emails, phone numbers and addresses, is detected and encrypted with a key unique to each user. A copy of the database alone can't reveal it.
  • The agency's admins see conversations with personal data redacted, and every sensitive admin action is logged.
  • Moderation tuned for crisis work: scandals, breaches and accidents are what users come to discuss, so only clearly illegal requests are refused, flagged and sent to the agency.
  • Verified email sign-up, optional two-factor sign-in, bot protection on every sign-in and a per-user rate limit on the AI.

A product, not a demo

Crisis Desk runs as a subscription. New accounts get free messages to try it; a paid plan raises the monthly limit, with checkout and plan changes through Stripe. Every payment produces a Romanian invoice in SmartBill automatically, so the agency's accounting needs no extra step.

The challenge

Crisis advice is only useful if it is right, fast and specific. The product had to give answers the agency would sign off on, in the first minutes of a crisis, without generic advice, while keeping some of the most confidential conversations a company has safe.

Our approach

We started from how the agency works a crisis: the questions it asks first, the severity scale it uses, the structure of its first-hour advice. That became the principles and knowledge the advisor runs on. Then we built the product around it, from sign-up and billing to the admin area where the agency follows conversations, flagged requests and feedback.
