PixelMakers started with a developer, a laptop, and a simple belief: good digital work should not take forever to ship or fall apart after launch.
Before founding PixelMakers, Mihai Ungureanu worked across full-stack development projects for clients in different industries. He saw the same problems repeatedly. Projects moved slowly, communication passed through layers of people, and agencies often disappeared as soon as the final invoice was paid. Clients were left with products they could not maintain and technology they did not fully control.
PixelMakers was created to offer a different kind of partnership.
From the beginning, we combined strategy, design, development, and ongoing support within one focused team. Clients worked directly with the people making the product, progress stayed visible, and responsibility did not end when the project went live.
Our early work covered a wide range of digital projects. We built Webflow websites, Shopify stores, SaaS experiences, custom applications, internal dashboards, and integrations for companies across industries. Each project helped us improve the same core capability: turning complicated requirements into polished products quickly.
Along the way, we developed deep experience in travel technology.
Travel projects pushed us to solve particularly demanding problems: booking integrations, complex inventories, multilingual and multi-currency platforms, operational automations, and systems that needed to remain dependable around the clock. That period of specialization strengthened the way we approach architecture, usability, performance, and long-term support.
But the skills we developed were never limited to one industry.
Today, PixelMakers works with ambitious companies that need a capable team to move an important digital project forward. We design and build websites, ecommerce experiences, applications, internal tools, automations, and AI-powered products using Webflow, Shopify, Sanity, Astro, Next.js, and modern JavaScript-based technology.
