No, but they're designed to work together. The platform handles infrastructure; the maintenance plan handles ongoing development, bug fixes, and improvements. Most clients find that combining both gives them complete coverage without having to manage anything themselves. You're welcome to use the platform standalone if you prefer.
Upgrade at any time — the transition is seamless. In the meantime, overages are billed transparently at the rates listed above. We'll proactively recommend a plan upgrade if your usage consistently exceeds your current tier.
Yes. Plans can be changed at any time. If your traffic is seasonal (as it is for many travel companies), we can discuss flexible arrangements.
No. Month-to-month billing, no long-term contracts. Your code is in your GitHub repository and your data is always exportable. If you decide to move, you take everything with you and we help with the transition.
Our platform includes automatic monitoring and DDoS protection. If you're on a maintenance plan, our team is alerted automatically and begins investigating immediately. If you're on the Scale plan, you have the highest priority response time.
Yes. We configure your custom domain and provision SSL certificates regardless of where your DNS is managed. We can also manage DNS for you if you prefer.
Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare and Google Cloud, both of which offer EU data residency options. We can configure your platform to store and process data in compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations. Contact us to discuss specific requirements.
Not currently. Our platform is offered as part of a client relationship — we build your platform and then host it. If you're evaluating PixelMakers for a project, we're happy to discuss how the platform fits into the overall engagement.
Base plan fees are billed monthly (or annually if you choose yearly billing). Usage-based charges are calculated at the end of each billing period based on actual consumption and added to your invoice. You receive a single, itemized invoice covering both platform and maintenance (if applicable).
